One of the reasons that people attend Localization World is for the networking opportunities. Besides the exhibit hall with areas for impromptu meetings, ample time set aside between sessions and at lunches, the conference offers two special occasions to allow attendees to relax and get to know each other while also getting a sampling of the local food and culture.

An immense floating palace of over 1,000 square meters, Le Paquebot speaks of a golden age when ocean liners stood for luxury and savoir-vivre. The spirit of the Normandie floats through the monumental staircases; the soul of the Queen Mary gently rocks the dining room, 85 meters in length; the triple deck, railings and lifeboats all are steeped in memories of a bygone era. Appropriate for all inventive and grandiose events, Le Paquebot is the largest ship on the Seine. Those nostalgic for a bygone era will, for an instant, feel as if crossing the ocean; others will discover that an 800-passenger reception room in Paris can possess a soul.
Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from this event. Buses will leave the Palais des Congrès between 19.15 and 19.30.
We will start boarding the boat at 20.00, with departure from dock at 20.30. The boarding location is Port de JAVEL Haut 75015 Paris.
The boat will return to the dock at 23.00 and shuttles will immediately commence back to the conference center/hotel.
