One of the reasons that people attend Localization World is for the networking opportunities. Besides the exhibit hall with areas for impromptu meetings, ample time set aside between sessions and at lunches, the conference offers two special occasions to allow attendees to relax and get to know each other while also getting a sampling of the local food and culture.

Just announced! The Localization World Pathable network allows attendees to create personal profiles. Then, with these profiles, they can communicate with fellow attendees and speakers about session topics. They can arrange private meetings, see which of their Twitter and LinkedIn contacts are attending, create personalized schedules for the conference and much more. Attendee privacy is protected: appearing as an attendee on the network is an opt-in condition, and all e-mail addresses are protected.

After a long day of conference sessions, join your friends and colleagues, new and old, for a seasonal dinner at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda. This modern landmark in downtown San Jose reflects the cultural and community pride of Silicon Valley. The dinner event is a great opportunity to continue discussions about the conference sessions. This fun and relaxed environment encourages real conversations with potential clients and new business partners.

Tickets for the dinner must be purchased in advance. Cost is $50 per person. Attendees should register online or contact Bernie Nova at bernie@localizationworld.com.

Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from this event. Buses will leave the Santa Clara Convention Center between 6:15 and 6:45 pm. They will begin returning to the Convention Center/Hyatt Regency at 9:00 pm.
