Localization World: Evening Gatherings

Yes, we will work hard during the day, but there are some interesting evening get-togethers scheduled. Come, take in some Seattle sites and unwind with your fellow professionals!

Tuesday, October 14 – Gathering 6:00-8:30 PM, Fisher Plaza East, Main Lobby
140 Fourth Avenue North, Seattle
Are you a participant in the pre-conference workshops? Or are you an early arrival for the main conference? Then come to the Fisher Plaza for hors d’oeuvres, tours of the state-of-the-art building and networking with your peers. Fisher Plaza is a 21st century mission-critical communications, media and office complex designed from the ground up to provide continuous service in the event of a disaster. It is connected to the world by nine fiber carriers and microwave and satellite up and down links. Tours of the facilities including radio and TV studios, network operations, and so on will be available every 45 minutes. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar available. Please wear your conference badge for admission!
Tours of this state-of-the-art building will also be available later during the conference. If you are interested in one of these later tours, please sign up at the Enso Company booth.

Wednesday, October 15 – Dinner 6:30-9:00 PM, Skyline Restaurant at the Space Needle
400 Broad Street, Seattle
After a full day of workshops and networking, come enjoy dinner at Skyline level restaurant, located 232' above sea level, at the Space Needle. We will be treated to a buffet of Northwest Cuisine while enjoying a panoramic view of Seattle, the Sound, and the surrounding mountains. All present are welcome to go to the top of the Space Needle at no charge. Please wear your conference badge to expedite security admittance.

Thursday, October 16 – Gathering, 6:00-10:00 PM, Garlic Tree Restaurant

After an inspiring day at Localization World, come fill your senses with the tastes of Asian fusion appetizers and a relaxing cup of tea surrounded by Jack Han’s paintings at the Garlic Tree Restaurant. It is located three blocks from the conference. Join other Localization World participants as guests of Enso Company Ltd., Artist, Jack Han and the Garlic Tree Restaurant in the historic Pike Place Market district for this special reception.
